Clayton E Turner, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon who has practiced in Casper over the past 22 years. He joined WSA in the fall of 2018, continuing his practice treating patients with spinal conditions. Dr. Turner grew up in Southern Oregon and pursued his college degree at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. He then spent 10 years in Houston, Texas receiving his MD degree and completing post-graduate training in orthopedic surgery and subspecialty training in spine surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. After training he served 4 years on active duty with the United States Navy Medical Corps and was stationed at the Oakland Naval Hospital and Madigan Army Medical Center. In 1998 Dr. Turner moved to Casper and joined Casper Orthopaedic Associates. During this time he established his practice of spine surgery, bringing contemporary, comprehensive and exemplary spine care to this region. In the fall of 2018 Dr. Turner joined Wyoming Surgical Associates, to continue his practice of spine surgery and become part of one of the most respected surgical practices in Wyoming. He continues his practice of spine surgery at WSA as one of the most experienced spine surgeons in Wyoming. He offers comprehensive and exceptional care to patients with spinal problems.
