Dr. Ratcliff was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming.  He attended Natrona County High School and Casper College.  He graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Utah with a B.A. degree in Biology. In 1983 he graduated from the University of Utah Medical School.  He completed his General Surgery Residency in 1988 at State University of New York – Upstate.  From 1991 to 1992 he did a Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Sansum Medical Clinic in Santa Barbara, California. Dr. Ratcliff received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army Corps in 1996.  His areas of special interest in medicine include colon and rectal cancer, complicated diverticular disease, and surgery for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.  Dr. Ratcliff enjoys spending time with his family and he is very happy to be practicing surgery in Wyoming.  Dr. Ratcliff is board certified in General Surgery and in Colon & Rectal Surgery and has been in surgical practice since 1988. He joined our group in 2004.
